Tele-serial `Chakravakam' bags seven awards

Cinegoers Television awards shortlisted; Pavani is best actress

HYDERABAD: చక్రవకం (Chakravakam), the serial on Gemini TV topped the Andhra Pradesh Cinegoers' TV Awards list with seven awards including the best actress recognition for Pavani.

The awards for best serials announced here on Saturday include బొమ్మరిళ్ళు (Bommarillu) (Doordarshan), నాగాస్త్రం (Nagastram) (ETV), దేవి భాగవతం (Devi Bhagavatham) (Gemini), మా పుణ్య క్షేత్రాలు (Maa Punya Kshetraalu) (Maa TV) and గోల్డ్ రష్ (Gold Rush) (Zee Telugu) while the best news channel award went to TV9. మీ ఇంటి వంట (Mee Inti Vanta) on Zee Telugu was adjudged as best among women oriented programmes.
