Madras Telugu Award for `Violin Vasu'

VIJAYAWADA: City lad D.V.K. Vasudevan, an up and coming violinist, will receive the prestigious `Samaikya Bharat Gaurav Satkar' accorded by the Madras Telugu Academy.

Popularly known as `Violin Vasu', Mr. Vasudevan will receive the award on April 29 at the Madras Music Academy in Chennai for his services in the field of Carnatic music - more specifically in violin segment. The Madras Telugu Academy, an internationally reputed culture promotion organisation, every year presents awards to 50 eminent people in different fields throughout the country.
